What does the lotus flower symbolize?

Aero*boga-the way of the heart

The cover of this book has a lotus flower floating over the crown of the head.  I chose this to symbolize the meaning attached to the lotus flower.  It signifies the original nature and purity of the heart opened fully to the soul.  It is the symbol of love, compassion, passion and all other qualities of the heart.

Within Bhagavad Gita (Hindu Scripture), the quality of the lotus blossom to stay untouched through the water and dirt of the pond where it grows, symbolizes the capability of an individual to remain unaffected through all sins as well as dirt associated with worldly matters, and accomplish spiritual perfection.

Aero*boga is the journey known as the way of the heart.  Like the lotus flower the heart opens and blooms when compassion and understanding take you down the pathway of appreciation for all of life.
