The Karma You Carry

Basically we have three tanks or holders of karma that we carry with us:

1.      the total tank of all your karma

2.      the karma you brought into this life

3.      the karma you are creating in this lifetime.

Before we can discover the lesson we have come here to learn, we must reincarnate. According to karma, in the last forty-eight minutes of your last life you had desires. These desires must then be realized again through this your next life. As we depart this earth we leave behind our bodies and our earthly senses. The soul cannot experience these desires without the help of the body and the senses so it chooses to return. These desires may be of an addictive nature, which means that the addiction, the drama, and the negativity will intensify in this and all the lifetimes to come unless we annihilate it. And to do that we will need to find emotional and physical balance, be flexible and open, remain strong and focused, and be aware of the nature of life; it is simply cause and effect. Let’s get to work.

There is also a special karma you create in this lifetime that will annihilate karma from the past, as well as in this lifetime and in future lifetimes.  Just remember karma is not retribution. It is an emotional and mental impetus from the past and that past could be one minute ago or many lifetimes ago.  Be on the lookout for this special karma. It will help you to prosper. What is it? Look for opportunities to practice kindness and you will discover it.

Karma ~Everything Gets Balanced

If a person comes into this life able to sing, play an instrument, draw a picture without any effort, or easily undertakes any task, according to the laws of karma, he or she probably began the endeavor in a previous life. Therefore the doctrine of karma states that nothing in life comes instantaneously. Everything is the result of a long learning process.

Karma upholds the law of universal justice in that it answers the question; why me? Why was I born poor when others were born rich, or why are some born with physical and mental hardships while others easily move through the world? Why does a plane crash someone lives while other die? Where is there justice in the world? There is no such thing as justice. That’s why we need laws.  The law of Karma states there are no reward and punishment. Life is simply cause and effect. We are here to learn this valuable lesson. Life becomes what life does.

Before we are born we choose the circumstances in which we have the greatest opportunity to discover the nature of our earthly mission; what we are here to learn. To learn we must seek knowledge and then turn that knowledge into wisdom.  Be aware that karma is the way of action and every action (cause) has its effect. The universe is a perfect accounting system. Everything gets balanced. Be mindful and choose wisely.

What is Karma?

Sometimes in life it is better to define something by what it is not. That is probably the best way to understand karma. In our western world we often hear karma referred to as good or bad. Karma is not about judgment. Judgment is really a very subjective impression. Good and bad signify punishment or retribution if a deed is not morally correct. But, morally correct is also a subjective impression. Karma is not the impressions, but rather the result of certain actions.  Karma therefore is not about punishment or rewards, but simply the energy of cause and effect.

Essentially, the laws of karma state that every action, thought, word, or deed produces a physical or mental effect. It also produces an invisible intention or inclination. This proclivity is stored in your soul (the memory track of your spirit). Everything that we do, say, or think, affects us on all planes; body, mind, and soul.

Because the invisible effects of our actions are stored in our souls, they endure beyond our earth life, maintaining the potential to be energized in future lives. According to karma, the soul chooses the nature of its earthly experience based upon the desire to present itself with the potential to work through a piece or pieces of karma.

Karma is present energy that, under certain conditions, changes from invisible to visible form. We look upon these manifestations as either rewarding or punishing when in fact they are simply results of past actions and attitudes. Basically life becomes what life does.

All creation is the result of energy. The process of creation is change. So remember everything that happens is the result of past action, whether it happened a minute ago or lifetimes ago. Karma is a result of the past. Choose wisely.
