Today I'm out of here (LA) for a long weekend to avoid carmegeddon - or better known as the 405 closure. We're taking advantage of an opportunity to get out of town. I'm lucky to have the option and remind myself daily to appreciate what I have and don't waste time feeling bad about what I don't have, which in the big scheme of things is minor. Just look around you. Life is not so bad.
