KARMA: we begin with: how did we get to this life, at this time, and in this place?

According to karma, we reincarnated. To fully understand karma, we need to begin with an understanding of reincarnation. Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, it is an interesting subject for most people. According to karma yoga and physics, we are simply a bundle of energy. According to the laws of thermodynamics, energy is never lost but changes form. Therefore, our energy field (body, mind, soul) is seen as a subtle form of motion, like a wave or a pulse that goes on and on. If we follow the laws of thermodynamics, we can conclude that our energy is never lost. It simply changes form. So, it would stand to reason that when we die, our energy changes to a different form of energy, and that energy maintains the potential to return to Earth and change its form again. The laws of karma state that when we transcend to the astral world (die), we go to the holdover place where emotions do not weigh us down and are free to appraise our past deeds and misdeeds accurately. We then decide what areas need improvement and what needs to be addressed. We then decide to return to earth life to do the correction work. But to do this, we must experience all of life, pleasure, and pain and be willing to take on human emotions and feelings. According to karma, we find and choose a suitable body, our parents, and a situation that will best help us work our karma. Therefore, honor your body, parents, and life – for you have chosen all three. Takes work – that’s karma! Let’s get started with the work of honoring your body, mind, and soul. END: According to karma, you have reincarnated to do the work that will improve yourself and the world. Just remember, energy is never lost. It simply changes form. Pay attention to your thoughts, words, and deeds, for they tell a lot about the state of your being, your character's depth, and your karmic work. You are here to work on your being, body, mind, and soul. Honor your body, your parents, and your life. EGO: Flip your palms up and extend out the index finger. The ego is our survival mechanism. It warns us of danger and urges us to protect ourselves. But it forgets that time on earth is temporary and why it is here. It often sees itself pitted against others and, therefore, can get caught up in believing it is always right and more important than other souls. Pull your index finger in and place your thumb on top. Take a breath and surrender to your soul. Connecting with the soul, we relieve ourselves from the ego's grip. We realize that this life is temporary and that we are here not to exert our importance but to do the work that makes us and the world a better place. It takes work – that’s why you are here - that’s karma! Namaste~ may you walk the path of life with health, happiness, and peace. Doctor Lynn For classes, books, and more http://www.doctorlynn.com
