#Yoga Today ~ The Nidhi – the container

The Nidhi is the container of the treasures of life. The treasures belong to everyone to use as they choose.  Some will use them to prosper and others will misuse them and create hardships. Where is the Nidhi? Here the secret is revealed. The container is you. You hold all the treasure of life. You just need to know what they are, where to find them and how to use them to prosper.

.

These treasures should be used in conjunction with the four aims in life; to bring material wealth to the world, to enjoy the pleasures of life and to create harmony while consciously making an effort to accept and be at peace as you walk the soulful path.

To fully understand this we must take a step backward to our karma. Remember you can change everything about your life accept your family of origin (your biological mother and father) and your individuality. You are unique, but we all share the same emotions and feelings. Everyone experiences sadness and everyone experiences joy. You can change your name, your gender, your wealth, your attitudes and perceptions but you cannot change the basic structure of who you are so embrace yourself and be grateful for although everyone has challenges in their life each of these is here as a lesson designed to make you stronger, keep you open and flexible to change, to give you balance when the storms of life are blowing and to ultimately guide you to acceptance and peace. Let’s get started

Prosperity is not measured by the size of your bank account. It is measured by the degree of your happiness. If you are unhappy you can change that because you have the power to change everything, accept your family of origin and your individuality. If you don’t like something, or if something cause you discord; change the way you look at it and the way you look at it will change. To prosper in life you must seek to create wealth, find pleasure in the small and everyday things, live harmonious with all of life, and learn to accept and make peace. Then reach out from a place of strength, while holding your balance and you will find that you have all you need to prosper in the world.
